Food

Food is one of Singapore’s national pastimes and the food is simply fantastic. Singapore has an annual festival featuring local hawker cuisines including Haianese chicken rice, chilli crab, laksa, satay, just to name but a few.

Check Marina Bay out for a stream boat buffet. It is reasonably priced too and you can feed on a huge variety of meat like crab, prawn, pork, beer and of course chicken. You simply have to pick your food and cook it in a boiling pot of soup or alternatively you can grill it for your tasting pleasure.

Eat as much as you can but be warned there is a find of $5 for food waste. You should also take the underground to Marina Bay before taking the bus number 400. From there, there’s a fair number of restaurants that are well worth visiting.
